On the 15th December I got an email telling me of the death of my boss, Steve Webb, for nearly 15 years. I started work in computers in 1980 after completing a TOPS course. I got a job with Incomputer in Guildford. After I had been there a year CMG took us over. This was a very lucky career break for me as CMG only took on experienced people and had a very good reputation for pay and opportunities. After about another year I was working for a London office, there I got to met Steve Webb(AD) and Alan Jopling(project Leader). We worked together really well. When Steve left to work for Hoskyns first he recruited Alan then me. My personal life changed during this time .At the beginning I was footloose and fancy free, I had the most amazing 30th birthday in pub in the City with a Tarzan stripper gram(terrified) which Steve organised. Later I got married and he again organised great presents. Even later I had a miscarriage and both Steve and my project leader Michael were so sensitive. Such memories
